I have been talking many times on the WHON Talkback radio show that has included talking with Aaron Stevens and Dr. B. to request that the school maintain one single website for anyone to visit that would show all school activities in one location. A calendar of sorts.
My reason: the school is that the school talks about money shorteges - this website would invite people of Richmond to visit these activities and that there is always a free will offering available.
This would include, trumpet practice, or any other musical, to also include sports events, but not be limited to sports. There are more at schools than sports. The drama club activites for example.

So let's imagine a little. It is Tuesday night and the family does not have a lot of money but they want a little entertainment. So they go buy one of those less than $6 Bob Evans meals followed by going to the RHS 7pm orchestra presentation at RHS. Or maybe the Dennis Drama Club is putting on a performance that same evening. Rather than driving clear to some other town for entertainment - it is right in our own town....
So whats a family to do? They get on the single website for What's Happenin at RCS? and plan their evening...
It's time we think outside of the box more so than ever. Oh, did I say that the school can pass the clean, empty chicken bucket around to collect free will offerings....money!
