The Business Alliance for Local Living Economies brings small business leaders together to help answer these questions: "How can my business use less energy and produce less waste? Read more »We started having monthly 100 mile radius potlucks in July 2008, and this month will have our 9th one! The publicity has been in all the usual places (Pal-Item, Waynet, WMUB, Earlham, etc.), and the turn out has been anywhere from 25-45 people per month.
Focusing on using ingredients from within 100 miles of Richmond has given people an engaging challenge, and brought strangers together around a common vision of sustainable agriculture.
